Spectricity looking for a Senior HR Business Partner who will build and lead our HR function while ensuring our people strategy supports our ambitious business objectives.


Your main responsibilities:

As our HR Business Partner, you are the trusted advisor for both managers and employees, ensuring that our people strategy supports our business objectives. You combine strategic HR thinking with a hands-on approach and take ownership of the full HR agenda, from operational excellence to organizational development.

You play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent while building scalable HR processes that enable the continued growth of Spectricity. Working closely with the General Manager and the leadership team, you provide expert HR advice, drive organizational improvements, and help create a high-performing and engaging work environment.

In this role, you report directly to the General Manager and work closely with managers across the organization, as well as with external payroll providers and international HR partners.

  • Act as the trusted HR Business Partner and primary HR contact for managers and employees.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, retention, and offboarding.
  • Partner with managers on organizational design, workforce planning, employee relations, and change management to support business growth.
  • Drive employee engagement and foster a high-performing and inclusive company culture.
  • Ensure compliance with Belgian employment legislation and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage the compensation and benefits framework, including payroll coordination with external providers and HR administration for Belgian and international employees.
  • Lead HR projects and continuously improve HR processes, systems, and policies.

Experience & Knowledge
  • Master's degree or equivalent through experience, with demonstrated Master's level thinking and working ability.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a broad HR role.
  • You have built a solid foundation as a Payroll Manager, Payroll Specialist, or HR Generalist with payroll responsibility and are ready to take the next step into a broader HR Business Partner role.
  • Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and offboarding.
  • Experience advising and coaching managers on employee relations, organizational development, and change management.
  • Solid knowledge of Belgian employment law, payroll processes, compensation & benefits, and HR best practices.
  • Experience coordinating Belgian payroll and supporting employment administration for international employees, including expatriates and cross-border employees.
  • Experience leading HR projects and continuously improving HR processes and policies.
  • Experience working in a scale-up, technology, engineering, manufacturing, or international environment is considered a strong asset.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting organizational growth and change management.
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or HR process digitalization.
  • Knowledge of international mobility or international employment regulations.
  • Experience within a high-tech, semiconductor, or manufacturing environment.
  • Chinese speaking.

Within our multidisciplinary engineering team, we are looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer who will play a key technical role in the definition, coordination, and realization of our technological products.

 

Your main responsibilities:

As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you are a technical authority within your domain. You report to the Team Lead, Computer Vision Engineering and act as an expert and trusted advisor for management, colleagues and customers. You take ownership of complex technical topics and help
steer projects to a successful outcome through deep expertise and hands-on contribution.

You work closely with engineering, product development and external partners, ensuring that computer vision algorithms are robust, scalable and well-integrated with hardware and software systems.

  • Research, design and implement improvements in the image processing pipeline, combining RGB with multi-spectral sensing
  • Develop advanced algorithms that convert sensor data into meaningful and reliable information
  • Apply and combine classical image processing, machine learning and data analysis to solve real-world challenges (e.g. auto-white balancing, calibration, robustness)
  • Act as technical expert in the integration of hardware, software and algorithms
  • Take an active role in project execution: define technical approaches, mitigate risks and support timely delivery
  • Analyze customer use cases and ecosystems, define system requirements and translate them into concrete technical solutions
  • Advise product management and engineering leads on technical feasibility, trade-offs and long-term impact
  • Contribute to technical decisions, standards and best practices within the team
  • Support and coach less experienced engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
  • You report to the Team Lead, Computer Vision Engineering
  • You collaborate closely with other senior engineers, team leads, and cross-functional teams (product, test, operations, business development)
  • You act as a technical point of contact for customers and partners, providing expert input and translating needs into solid solutions

 

Your profile, skills, and talents:
We are looking for someone who brings the right competencies:
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Git, with high standards for software quality, implementation and verification
  • Experience with ISP design flow and RGB pipelines
  • Hands-on knowledge of spectral image analysis and computer vision
  • Proven experience in applied machine learning and AI-based solutions (e.g., using Keras/Tensorflow)
  • A strong understanding of signal processing and data management
  • Confidence in all phases of algorithm development: from ideation and feasibility studies to defining data protocols and evaluating model performance

  • Ability to maintain an overview while keeping attention to detail

Senior Process Integration Engineer

Spectricity is entering a new phase of growth, and we are looking for a Senior Process Integration Engineer who ensures that strategy translates into execution.

 

Your main responsibilities:

As a Senior Process Integration Engineer, you bridge advanced semiconductor technology development with manufacturing.

You work closely with internal engineering teams and external semiconductor foundries to ensure successful process integration and production ramp‑up. You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, characterization and product engineering. Your responsibilities include:

  • You will be part of our Manufacturing Support Team in Mechelen
  • Together with the team you will support and coordinate activities at our foundry partner in China
    • Bring a prototype into high volume manufacturing (HVM)
    • Define, optimize and characterize in-line monitoring structures for HVM monitoring and qualification.
    • Analyze inline optical data to check if processes are in spec.
    • Run optical coating simulations
    • Assist in definition of design rules and process step specs to ensure high production yield.
    • Gain in depth understanding of our process technology in foundries and define improvements.
    • Execute critical steps of the processing of critical device or test lots in a prototype or production line.
    • Work towards high yield processing by investigating failure modes, looking into SPC data, identifying root causes for yield losses, and propose solutions.
    • Follow-up of lot processing and process quality at our foundry partners.
    • Guidance of junior process integration engineers and foundry engineers in China
  • Timely and structured reporting of transfer status, project timelines, issues and results to process integration teams at foundries and Spectricity.
  • Assist product and process technology development teams in building process technology roadmaps and assessing new foundry process and module capabilities for future product generations.

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in a semiconductor fab environment
  • Strong understanding of CMOS or MEMS manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with semiconductor equipment, in-line inspection and metrology systems
  • Strong project management skills and experience reporting project progress
  • Willingness to travel and work in an international environment

Nice to have
  • PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Experience with mask tape-out procedures
  • Knowledge of thin film filter technology and design
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese
