Spectricity is entering a new phase of growth, and we are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who ensures that strategy translates into execution.

 

Your main responsibilities:
  • Initiate and manage ISO9001 certification of Spectricity
  • Implement and maintain various quality management systems in compliance with ISO9001 (document control, change management, auditing, issue tracking and complaint handling, quality performance reporting, risk analysis
  • Organize internal and external audits to assess the effectiveness of the QMS and identify areas for improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for quality processes, procedures, and audit results
  • Take the lead in investigating and resolving quality issues using industry best practice root cause analysis and other problem-solving techniques
  • Train and support staff on QMS requirements and implement best practices to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards
  • Interface with customers, suppliers and engineering on quality-related matters, including audits, assessments, and issue resolution

Experience & Knowledge
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a senior quality role within the semiconductor or high-tech industry
  • Proven experience in setting up quality systems from scratch
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and quality management systems
  • Experience with audits, root cause analysis, and quality improvement methodologies
  • Familiarity with semiconductor testing, probing, or reliability is a plus
  • Experience in an international and multicultural environment

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO auditor) is a plus

Spectricity is entering a new phase of growth, and we are looking for a Senior Process Integration Engineer who ensures that strategy translates into execution.

 

Your main responsibilities:

As a Senior Process Integration Engineer, you bridge advanced semiconductor technology development with manufacturing.

You work closely with internal engineering teams and external semiconductor foundries to ensure successful process integration and production ramp‑up. You collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including design, characterization and product engineering. Your responsibilities include:

  • You will be part of our Manufacturing Support Team in Mechelen
  • Together with the team you will support and coordinate activities at our foundry partner in China
    • Bring a prototype into high volume manufacturing (HVM)
    • Define, optimize and characterize in-line monitoring structures for HVM monitoring and qualification.
    • Analyze inline optical data to check if processes are in spec.
    • Run optical coating simulations
    • Assist in definition of design rules and process step specs to ensure high production yield.
    • Gain in depth understanding of our process technology in foundries and define improvements.
    • Execute critical steps of the processing of critical device or test lots in a prototype or production line.
    • Work towards high yield processing by investigating failure modes, looking into SPC data, identifying root causes for yield losses, and propose solutions.
    • Follow-up of lot processing and process quality at our foundry partners.
    • Guidance of junior process integration engineers and foundry engineers in China
  • Timely and structured reporting of transfer status, project timelines, issues and results to process integration teams at foundries and Spectricity.
  • Assist product and process technology development teams in building process technology roadmaps and assessing new foundry process and module capabilities for future product generations.

  • Strong understanding of CMOS or MEMS manufacturing processes
  • Experience working with semiconductor equipment, in-line inspection and metrology systems
  • Strong project management skills and experience reporting project progress
  • Willingness to travel and work in an international environment

Nice to have
  • PhD in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Experience with mask tape-out procedures
  • Knowledge of thin film filter technology and design
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese

Your main responsibilities:

As a Junior Characterization Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team developing Spectricity’s multispectral imaging technology. You will work closely with R&D engineers, system engineers and test engineers to characterize and validate sensors and camera systems.

In this role you will set up measurements, analyze test results and contribute to the development and optimization of characterization methods. You will also play an important role in organizing and maintaining the lab environment to ensure efficient and reliable testing.

This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced sensor technology in a dynamic engineering environment. Your responsibilities include:

Characterize our sensors and cameras
  • Execute optical and electrical measurements on sensors and camera systems
  • Build and configure measurement setups for characterization activities
  • Design and manufacture fixtures using 3D printing to complete test setups
  • Analyze measurement results and support interpretation of data
  • Document and report characterization results

Laboratory organization and equipment management
  • Run and organize the lab environment to ensure efficient testing
  • Allocate measurement equipment based on project needs
  • Track and manage storage of devices that need to be characterized
  • Follow up on equipment calibration and ensure measurement accuracy
  • Order components, lab supplies and equipment when needed

  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git is a plus
  • Experience with prototyping or 3D printing is an advantage

  • Driving New Product Introduction programs in close collaboration with marketing and management

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be the first technical point of contact for our customers. You will report to our CMO & VP Sales. You will support them in integrating our hardware and software, ensuring they get the most out of our solutions. With your technical expertise, hands-on approach, and customer orientation, you build strong relationships and contribute to our success in a fast-growing market.

  • Technical Support & Customer Engagement: Guide customers in integrating our solutions and provide hands-on support
  • Documentation & Training: Create technical documentation and deliver training to customers, partners, and internal teams
