Semiconductor Foundry Assignee
Location: Malaysia
Your main responsibilities will be to
- Daily follow up and reporting of all Spectricity related activities at the semiconductor foundry (Xfab)
- Hands-on fab work on critical process and metrology equipment in conjunction with foundry engineers
- Analyze inline and EoL data to check if processes are in spec and yield targets are met
- Work pro-actively together with Xfab towards high yield processing by investigating SPC data, failure modes, and identifying root causes for yield losses
In your role you will
- Do hands-on fab work (~40%): inline measurements, wafer inspections, wafer handling etc.
- Collaborate with Spectricity product development and integration team to translate product specs into a process flow and process and module specifications
- Collaborate with partner foundries and Spectricity Operation teams to achieve high yield high volume manufacturing
- Use your problem-solving skills and creative thinking to overcome technology and process issues
Your profile, skills and talents
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, physics or similar
- You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume semiconductor foundry environment as process or integration engineer, working with semiconductor equipment, and have a good understanding of all manufacturing processes principles for CMOS or MEMS manufacturing.
- You have experience in statistical analysis of in-line wafer data
- You have a basic understanding of general engineering principles including electronics and mechanics
- Experience with in-line inspection, metrology or deposition systems is a strong plus
- Experience with python, or other scripting/coding platforms is a plus
- You are fluent in English, and have excellent communication skills
- You are prepared to work onsite the Xfab foundry partner in Malaysia with occasional travel to Belgium

Field Application Engineer China
Location: China
Your main responsibilities will be to
- Define and build complex image sensor and camera test systems, together with our system engineers.
- Define our sensors and cameras:
- Define the right metrics and measure performance, analyse and document the results.
- Investigate complex optical properties and data analysis to improve efficiency.
- Learn and understand the Spectricity proprietary filter technology to interpret the obtained measurement results.
- Technically support the customers and partners in Asia. You will be the technical interface to the Belgium-based R&D
teams:- Provide proactive technical support, problem solving and Q&A for clients and partners to drive for design-
win and customer satisfaction. - Define and establish required documentation, training materials, agenda and conduct technical training.
- Participate in and facilitate failure analysis and corrective actions.

- Support BD and Marketing to help define the customer and product requirements
- Attend trade shows and industry events when needed
- Conduct product demonstrations

- You are very fluent in English and Chinese/Mandarin, and have good presentation skills

(Senior) Characterisation Engineer
Within the dynamic, multidisciplinary and fast-growing team of technologists, engineers and application experts, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Characterisation Engineer.
Your role will be in the Engineering team, where sensors are developed. In your role, you will also interact with R&D System Engineers in the CTO Office and Test Engineers in the Operations team.

- You have a solid understanding of elementary electronics and optics, boards, systems, imagers, cameras and test
equipment - You are comfortable analysing large datasets, extracting and interpreting metrics
- You are proficient with Python. Git and continuous integration and unit tests are the tools you use daily
- Documenting your work is second nature to you
- Experience with spectroscopy and/or optical systems is a plus
- You are fluent in English, and have good presentation skills
