Chief Financial Officer

Your main responsibilities will be to
Reporting directly to the CEO you will own all Finance and Legal activities at Spectricity. This covers a large variety of tasks and responsibilities such as:

  • Planning, implementation, managing and running all Finance activities of the Company based on the input of the various departments such as Sales, Operations, Engineering and CTO Office. Yearly budget preparation, monthly forward-looking business planning and financial reporting are key responsibilities.
  • Building and maintaining, together with the CEO, the relationship with the present and future investors of the company. This includes financial reporting, Due Diligence activities, and various legal and contract related matters.
  • Responsible for all legal activities related to employee and contractor contracts, interaction with legal counselors, NDAs, IP agreements, Subcontractor contracts.
  • Owning all non-dilutive funding initiatives together with the CTO-Office. This includes relations with Flemish, Belgian, European funding organizations extending to all other countries where the Company has or is planning activities such as for example China.
  • Responsible for company metrics. Sets up and maintains various xompany processes related to financial and legal approvals and follow-up of the various controlling mechanisms. This extends to the follow-up of the processes in the various branches the company might set up such as for example in China.

Software Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be to

  • Lead internal tool development and define SW architecture together with Spectricity engineers and scientists and external contractors.
  • Taking software ownership over existing and new software development supporting our applications, customer software and internal software development tools. This includes planning and execution of
    • develop tools and applications based on internal customer (engineering) needs – e.g. design and measurement automation, data collection and visualization.
    • development and maintenance of internal software development infrastructure – e.g. code repositories, CICD, deployment
    • cloud setups for computational analysis and data science
    • customer-shipped evaluation software and UI
  • Reviewing code and coach engineers that use code daily but are not programmers, towards a better overall quality of infrastructure.

  • You have a master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar relevant degree by proven experience
  • DevOps is your middle name
  • Software engineering, rather than just coding, is your trade. You are comfortable at all levels of abstraction, from architecture planning to debugging of the low-level driver code.
  • You are not afraid of any programming task needed to get the work done efficiently, whether it requires using Python, Matlab, Javascript, Embedded-C or anything around.
  • You are proficient with Python.
  • You have, optionally, in the past developed standalone desktop application with a Qt-based GUI, perhaps using Python bindings.

Sr. Computer Vision Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be to
– Develop spectral imaging processing algorithms and calibration techniques to output correct spectral image data from our cameras in volumes
– Support the engineering team to optimize the camera products and production test based on the spectral algorithm requirements
– Together with the application team, develop targeted spectral imaging applications extracting spectral features leaning on computer vision and machine learning modeling
– Together with the application team, co-define and support application data collection
– Co-define and execute the company roadmap

Sr. Design Engineer Integrated Optics

Your main responsibilities will be to
– Define, design, simulate and model our spectral sensor systems related to all their integrated optics and integrated thin film filter aspects
– Define and build test and modeling structures, characterize and test our sensor systems related to their optical performance, supporting the product development teams
– Perform research on improved optics and filters for our systems, and on the roadmap spectral sensor technologies

Sr. IC Test & Validation Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be to

– Define and build test systems, characterize, validate and test our sensor ICs and sensing systems, supporting the development teams
– Define, build and improve the Spectricity testing framework and device/test database

Process Integration Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be to
– Together with our partners, define and optimize our integrated filter process technology flow for our products.
– Optimize process steps and technology modules across semiconductor tools and contribute to preparing and transferring the technology towards high volume production.
– Define, optimize and characterize in-line monitoring structures for the technology.
– Follow-up of lot processing and process quality at our partners.

Filter Design and System Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be to

  • Design, simulate and verify hyperspectral filter implementations, in close collaboration with Spectricity process engineers and product engineers.
  • Design for manufacturing of Spectricity hyperspectral products, with emphasis on the filter design and system co-design, including process, manufacturing, optics and package tolerances.
  • Development of system models and internal development tools.

Together with our engineering team, design our sensor products, characterize the system specifications, define test systems to validate the design, analyze measurement results and propose improvements.
