Mechelen, Belgium, April 15, 2024 — Spectricity, a leading innovator in spectral sensing solutions for mobile and consumer devices, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Yao as Vice President of Worldwide Sales. This key addition to the leadership leverages David’s extensive experience to steer the company through emerging markets and novel applications in spectral imaging.
David brings to Spectricity over 25 years of experience in global sales leadership and business development within the technology sector, most notably in semiconductor and materials companies. His expertise spans across Asia Pacific and Greater China regions, having held significant roles at Azumo, Keyssa, Nanoco Technologies, Cambrios, and other leading technology
firms.
In his new role at Spectricity, David will oversee the company’s sales operations, with a particular focus on key markets including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, and the United States. He will collaborate closely with the marketing, R&D, applications, and operations teams to execute company strategies, develop key customer relationships, and drive design-ins and design-wins to fuel the company’s revenue growth.
