Spectricity is entering a new phase of growth, and we are looking for a System Engineer who ensures that strategy translates into execution.

 

Your main responsibilities:

As a System Engineer, you play a key role in defining and architecting Spectricity’s spectral sensing products. You translate customer needs into robust system solutions and ensure a strong alignment between product design, application and manufacturing.

  • Understand the end product use case in the customer’s system
  • Understand the target system components and interfaces
  • Understand the customer needs to easy design in of our products
  • Understand the eco-system of the application
  • Translate this information into product requirements to meet the customer needs
  • Architect and simulate the optical-electrical system in its various components (lens, filters, sensor)
  • Implement the chosen solution:
    • Design (Define DOE when needed) & tape-out
    • Results analysis and debugging
    • Fine tune for manufacturing
  • Interface to internal and external customers to align needs and development specifications
  • Give inputs to the technical roadmap to define future products

Experience & Knowledge
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in system engineering within a semiconductor or high-tech environment
  • Strong experience with image sensor design and applications
  • Solid knowledge of optical systems (lenses, filters)
  • Good understanding of semiconductor development flows
  • Experience with system architecture and simulation
  • Knowledge of image processing data paths is a plus
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary and international environment
Education & Certifications
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or a related technical field
  • PhD is a strong plus
