About Spectricity

Spectricity was incorporated in 2018 as a spin-off from imec, a leading R&D center in nanoelectronics and digital technologies in Belgium. Since then, we have been developing low-cost, miniaturized multispectral sensing solutions with the mission to bring this technology into high-volume consumer and industrial devices. Our applications extend across wearables, smartphones, security, automotive, biomedical health, smart gardening, food analysis, color sensing, and smart object recognition.

We are an international team of technologists, engineers, and application experts who work together every day to build innovative solutions. Our culture is open, supportive, and strongly focused on collaboration. We believe in ownership, a hands-on mindset, and giving people the space to grow.

Our headquarters are located in Mechelen, Belgium, and we also have an office in Shanghai, China. As a fast-growing scale-up, we combine strong technological foundations with the dynamic environment of a company that is innovating and expanding globally.

Do you want to work on cutting‑edge spectral sensing technology used in next‑generation devices?

    • Analyze inline optical data to check if processes are in spec.
    • Run optical coating simulations
    • Assist in definition of design rules and process step specs to ensure high production yield.
    • Gain in depth understanding of our process technology in foundries and define improvements.
    • Execute critical steps of the processing of critical device or test lots in a prototype or production line.
    • Work towards high yield processing by investigating failure modes, looking into SPC data, identifying root causes for yield losses, and propose solutions.
    • Follow-up of lot processing and process quality at our foundry partners.
    • Guidance of junior process integration engineers and foundry engineers in China
  • Timely and structured reporting of transfer status, project timelines, issues and results to process integration teams at foundries and Spectricity.
  • Assist product and process technology development teams in building process technology roadmaps and assessing new foundry process and module capabilities for future product generations.
