Mechelen, Belgium, Sep 25, 2024 — Spectricity has announced a distribution agreement with MEDs Technologies, Singapore. The agreement covers the sale of Spectricitiy’s multispectral camera module in ASEAN countries, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea where MEDs Technologies have a strong local presence. The strategic collaboration will focus on the integration of Spectricity’s multispectral camera module in the field of surveillance, manufacturing process automation, industrial inspection, and robotic applications.

Spectricity’s S1-M is a miniaturised 16-channel multispectral camera module that embeds Spectricity’s S1 image sensor in a compact camera module. S1-M operates in the visible and near-IR range, and is designed for compact mobile devices, IoT, robotics, and smartphone integration. By forming the strategic collaboration, MEDs Technologies can integrate S1-M with its value-added system level camera module product lines, for a broad range of applications in surveillance and factory automation.
