Mechelen, Belgium, March 6, 2025 — Spectricity announced a strategic distribution agreement with Hakuto Co., Ltd., a prominent technology trading company based in Tokyo, Japan. This partnership will significantly expand the availability of Spectricity’s multispectral sensors in the Japanese market, coupled with Hakuto’s renowned local technical assistance.

Under the agreement, Hakuto will become the authorized distributor for Spectricity’s multispectral sensor products in Japan. A key differentiator of this partnership is Hakuto’s focus on providing local technical assistance. Their specialized technical team will ensure customers receive optimal solutions tailored to their specific needs, facilitating seamless integration of Spectricity’s multispectral sensors into diverse applications.

Spectricity’s miniaturized S1 sensor features 15-channel high spectral resolution across a large spectral range from 400nm to 700nm. Hakuto’s expertise in integrating advanced solutions with customer applications will empower Spectricity’s products in various sectors, e.g., consumer electronics, industrial inspection, healthcare, agriculture, etc.
