We are currently hiring the following profiles:

Semiconductor foundry assignee

Your main responsibilities will be 

  • Daily follow up of all Spectricity related activities at the semiconductor foundry including lot movements and lot related inline and EOL data, quality issues, etc.
  • Analyze inline and EOL data to check if processes are in spec and yield targets are met.
  • Assist the quality and test department by connecting outgoing wafer report data and ATE results.
  • Hands-on work on critical process and metrology equipment in conjunction with foundry engineers.
  • Frequent reporting to Spectricity Operations on foundry activities.
  • Work pro-actively together with the foundry towards high yield processing by investigating failure modes, looking into SPC data, identifying root causes for yield losses, and propose solutions.
  • Assist in definition of design rules and process step specs to ensure high production yield.
  • Assist product and process technology development teams in building process technology roadmaps, and assessing new foundry process and module capabilities for future product generations.
  • Actively work together with Spectricity supply chain, quality and test department (support manufacturing planning, support fab audits, corrective actions, feedback of test data to foundry, etc.)

In your role, you will

  • Collaborate with integration engineers at the foundry and process step/semiconductor tool responsibles to define and optimize the process technology flow for our products.
  • Collaborate with Spectricity product development and integration team to translate product specs into a process flow and process and module specifications.
  • Assess and report proactively capacity and capability constraints, taking into account our high-volume production
    projections.
  • Collaborate with partner foundries and Spectricity operations teams to achieve high yield HVM.
  • Collaborate with Spectricity research teams to define the next generation technologies, build the roadmap and develop new process capabilities.
  • Gain in depth understanding of our process technology (existing processes, modules and flows, new developments, etc.)

Your profile, skills and talents

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, physics or similar
  • You have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume semiconductor foundry environment, working with semiconductor equipment, and have a good understanding of all manufacturing processes principles for CMOS OR MEMS manufacturing.
  • You have experience in statistical analysis of in-line wafer data.
  • You have a basic understanding of general engineering principles including electronics and mechanics.
  • Experience with in-line inspection, metrology or deposition systems is a strong plus
  • Experience with python, or other scripting/coding platforms is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English, and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are prepared to work onsite the foundry partner in Asia with occasional travel to Belgium.

Office manager and admin support

Your main responsibilities will be 

Procurement:

  • Creation of Purchase Orders: supplier info entry, PO entry and submission, intern requests for approval and follow-up in accordance with internal purchasing procedure, etc
  • Follow-up of Purchase Orders: reception, delivery date, purchase conditions
  • Shipment checking: reception, comparing content with order, returns, etc
  • Tracking of invoices from suppliers: review and reporting of spendings for different projects
  • Shipments and logistics: preparing shipments and documents, tracking of goods in a database, reviewing invoices.

Office :

  • General management of office spaces and interaction with landlords
  • Management of office transfer to tentative new location
  • Management of the car fleet
  • Arrange accommodations, flights, train, etc. for business travels

Sr. Computer Vision Engineer

Your main responsibilities will be to
– Develop spectral imaging processing algorithms and calibration techniques to output correct spectral image data from our cameras in volumes
– Support the engineering team to optimize the camera products and production test based on the spectral algorithm requirements
– Together with the application team, develop targeted spectral imaging applications extracting spectral features leaning on computer vision and machine learning modeling
– Together with the application team, co-define and support application data collection
– Co-define and execute the company roadmap

Your profile, skills and talents

Ideally you are a creative, self-dependent engineer or scientist, highly-motivated to be part of a dynamic team creating new value, continuously and actively seeking better solutions for our problems. Specifically:

– You have a master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, engineering or similar relevant degree by proven experience and at least 5-10 years of experience in a computer vision and image processing.
– Signal processing and computer vision are your trade. You are comfortable at all levels of abstraction, from architecture to implementation of algorithm code. You are on top of quality standards with respect to software implementation and verification
– You have proven experience in applied Machine Learning and development of AI-based solutions.
– You are proficient with Python. Git and continuous integration and unit tests are the tools you use daily
– Experience with spectroscopic analysis is a very strong plus
– You are a leader who can efficiently interact with your peers within CTO office, engineering and marketing teams
– You are fluent in English, and have good presentation skills
